Vietnam Announces Import and Export Data of Computer and Electronic Products

On November 28th, Vietnam's computer, electronic products, and component exports continued to grow at a double-digit rate, with the United States still the main market.

According to data from the General Administration of Customs of Vietnam, as of November 15, 2022, the total import and export volume of computers, electronic products, and components reached 121.6 billion US dollars, accounting for 18.86% of the total import and export volume of the country. Among them, exports reached 48.3 billion US dollars, an increase of 12.6%.

In terms of export markets, the United States ranks first, followed by China, the European Union, and South Korea. In the first 10 months of this year alone, exports of computers and electronic products to the United States reached 13.23 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 26.4%; Next is China, with 9.81 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%.

In terms of imports, the import value of computer and electronic products was 73.3 billion US dollars, an increase of 14.2%. Import from Chinese Mainland reached 20.6 billion US dollars, up 17.7% year on year; Import from South Korea reached 20 billion US dollars, an increase of 23.2%; US $9.62 billion of imports from Taiwan, China; Japan imports 6.03 billion US dollars.
